Let's face it, as much as it's about health and vitality, we *all* want to look good. And in our fifties (I'm 56), it's a struggle.

I have to deal with my 67-year old colleague (male), who brags about his weight loss chart every day. He cut out a few things and he's lost 20 pounds! And was slim to begin with! And one of my engineers who has lost 20 pounds since Christmas, and has an iron will. Geesh!

After 2 weeks on the machine, I'm ready for a break! But the tin-cans feel good, I must say. It will be a few weeks before I move up to 3 pounders.

My husband's family is from Missouri too, what part are your grandparents from?
