I'm thinking we need a separate "smoking cessation" thread. What do you think? I am one of the fortunate few never to have been addicted to nicotine, although I flirted with smoking, since I have lived most of my life with heavy smokers, first my mother, then my husband. The latter is a former smoker, but still struggles very hard with it.

Meanwhile, my exercise for the day will have to be walking. Since I live downtown in a walkable city, I walk to the subway, then to the office. I can walk an extra stop whenever I have the time, so this morning I'll do that.

Tomorrow I'll start back on my simple Pilates routine (I call them my "stoutness exercises", and my Tai Chi warmups. David started back doing serious Tai Chi practice a couple of weeks ago, and I have to match him, somehow (he practices almost every day!)
