Loon - It is SO hard when your husband isn't joining in on a diet. Tom & I both fight our weight. It's great when we are on track together and next to impossible when one is on and the other not. Too much temptation. Right now we are both on our diets. Good luck to you. Just hang in there, have some healthy munchies on hand that you can have when he's being bad. Also, ask him to keep his stash hidden somewhere so you don't have to look at it any more than necessary.
Wendy - seems like you are doing quite a bit of exercise. My favorite in the past has been walking after work. But when the time changes I stop because I won't walk at night. Every winter the same problem. This time I decided to do the Denise Austin TV workouts Mon-Fri. (I've said this before, hope I don't sound like a broken record). To me that is better than one or two exercise tapes or CDs that you do over & over again. Every day her workout is a new one. She does yoga, pilates, balancing ball, weight training, floor exercises, low impact aerobics and lots of stretching. Do you think this would help you? Then on Sat I do my walk - 1 hour.
Claudia - I've heard that your body starts fighting the weight loss when it hits a certain point and that you should eat more on some days just to mix it up and fool your body. Maybe that is what happened when you finally lost after a little cheat.
Kimmi - We've had several exercise machines in the past that made great clothes hangers. This time Tom is actually using our stationary bike. Good boy. I've tried it and just find it too boring.
Good luck to all!!
