I quit smoking years ago. I was lucky to find a really good motivator. I had a patient that was 32 years old, taking birth control pills and was a smoker. She had a major stroke and seeing her made me go home and throw out all my cigarettes. I had cravings for years afterwards, but never started again. Good luck to the rest of you in finding your motivating factor.

My biggest problem right now seems to be that I am craving sweets. I am trying to eat fruit instead and it hasn't been too bad as we received two packages of it from Harry and David for Christmas and it was good. I just finished it off this morning though, so we'll see if I can continue to buy it here and eat it or not. MN is not well-known for it's fruit in the winter!
