Meanwhile Olivia begins her research into possible precedents in order to mount a rousing defense of all should it prove necessary. She logs onto the martitme law database and finds a pertinent case, an obscure ruling from 1960 which held for the defendants that such cases cannot be tried if the defendants are charged while they are in international waters. Olivia quickly rounds up Christy, Grace, Joanna, Marcie, Claudia, Denise, Tony, Tom, Alan, Donna, Lelie, Brad, Larry, Anne, Betty, Gary, Wantsome, Cookie, Ruth, Ngaire, Ngaire's lawyer, and Larry King, boards them onto Atta Girl. Captain Suzette sets sail immediately and gets Atta girl the required 12 miles away from shore. Suzette then makes an announcement from the bridge: "The mandatory life boat drill will commence in 15 minutes. When you hear seven long blasts followed by one short blast on the horn, Take the life boat supplies stored in your closet and proceed immediately to your lifeboat station". As the LCTers assemble near their life boats, they open their life boat supplies container and are thrilled to find they contain all the things they were craving....bottles of Sambucca, Grey Goose, premium wines, Tequila, beers from around the world as well as racks of lamb, Dover sole, Grand Mainer soufflés, well you get the picture. They knew they had hit upon a Gold Mine! Joanna was no longer sequestered in the laundry room as she had finished Olivia's laundry in record time so she was able to share in their conga dance of joy led by Tom. Suzette was immediately notified to provide autographed copies of Ruth's sex therapy guidebook. Joanna narrowly avoids a delete defeat!
