Bonnie, I probably should have said Cowboy "brand" charcoal - it's good stuff - we will never buy run-of-the-mill Kingsford, etc., ever again! It's hardwood and gives a great smoky taste to the food. Greg gets it from Lowe's, I think. He is most definitely the chef in this house - the only things I make are lasagna and homemade pizza!
