What you've written is so meaningful and insightful.

Although you wish you could have done some things differently, prior to your mother's passing, you did the best you were able at the time. You have to believe and know that your mother knew how you felt about her, despite you not saying the words "I love you" at the time. None of us are perfect beings. We're all guilty of whining, complaining, getting upset over the most trivial of things and sometimes not being as demonstrative as we should be; however, the real person comes out many times in many ways. The way you live your life each day speaks volumes of the person you truly are.

Reading your posts, I have a sense that you are a very caring and spiritual individual. Surely she knew the real you and how much you loved and cared about her.

While I'm sorry to say we will not be sailing with you to Tahiti, we'll have lots to talk about during brunch.

We are very much looking forward to this get together.
