Andi...this was a great idea though I usually lurk and have not posted much...

Chuck (my husband) and I have been married for 9+ years and live in Alpharetta, GA which is a northern surburb of Atlanta...Chuck is a creature of habit...likes to go to the same places and is not adventurous...we have a 29 year old daughter (yes I do claim her as mine) and in fact she just got engaged last Wednesday...

I did several cruises in my single years on Costa, Royal Viking and on Crystal...Chuck had also cruised many times prior to my meeting him and had always enjoyed it...

We did do a Crystal Mediterranean cruise prior to our wedding and he loved it...the only other cruise we have done together was a weekend cruise on Carnival with my brother & sister and their families and he made me promise never to go on Carnival again...

Last year he did show me a Radisson brochure on a Canada/New England cruise with a stay in New York but we never booked it...he said this was something that he would like to try...

This past November was my mother-in-laws 80th birthday and we were trying to think of something very special to do for her and something that she would not do for herself...she loves to cruise but would never spend the money for Radisson not that she could not afford to...so Chuck and I took her and our daughter on a 7 day Radisson cruise over Thanksgiving...it was wonderful and we upgraded both cabins to Butler so that it would be extra special for her...Chuck just loved it...sitting on the balcony listening to music and just watching the world go by...I will say that I have not seen him so relaxed in so long...

While on this cruise he said that we need to do another one with lots of sea days and for longer...so here we are planning on the November 19th Mariner Canal Cruise...
