This is such a wonderful idea! I have loved reading about everyone! Forgive me in advance - I'm long-winded.

I was born and raised in St. Joseph MO, vowing never to live in this "one horse town" as an adult. My parents loved to travel, and Dad's job (37 years with IBM) made that possible. Went to the Universtity of Kansas (go Jayhawks!) and settled down in Lenexa KS working in sales. Spent a summer in Hickory NC evaluating a new job, loved the area but couldn't focus my life around Winston Cup Racing ;) , so moved back to KC and started working for a wire rope company in customer service. Within 2 months they transferred me to (guess where?) St. Joseph MO.

Got married, divorced, and now live with my S/O Tim and our 5 adopted cats. 2 were planned, and 3 were abandoned under our stairs when they were about a week old.(Sunshine, Dinah, Bo, Cleo, and Shy) Age wise early 40's.
