Dixiechick - I was just reading your profile. we have a lot in common, I too am originally from So. California (Manhattan Beach) and my husband is a born and bred Alabamian (Montgomery). He is retired from a large aerospace company (TRW - now Northrum Grummon), we met there. We transferred to VA 18 years ago, and are still here, as all our kids are on the East side of the Mississippi, Richmond, Boston and Tenessee (see my earlier post re our son). Just thought there were some interesting common threads in our lives.
