Andi-
You really are an organizer aren't you. Cute idea!
I took my first cruise in 1974 for my 16th birthday. It was on a Costa ship - The Flavia. I had such a good time dancing before dinner I missed dinner and got there just in time for my special cake. The family has never let me live that one down. My 2nd cruise was on Carnival's first ship Mardi Gras - we were a family of 5 in a tiny (& I mean tiny) cabin but we had a blast. I did several week-end cruises over the years and then got away from cruising and into skiing.
In 1999 I introduced my workaholic husband Kent to cruising and we having been taking 1 a year since. He loves it as he can truly get away from it all. We've sailed on Enchantment of the Seas, Mercury, Sea Princess, Radiance of the Seas & Millennium and all have been good experiences in various ways. We are looking forward to our first Radisson cruise and Bermuda. Kent's into fishing so I am trying to get him hooked up to fish.
We are in the 45-60 range (me at the bottom him at the top). I have a 16 year old son and 4 step-kids 24-35 and 3 grandkids. We live in Franklin, TN with all the country music stars but both grew up in S. FL. We met in Denver, CO and have been married 8 years. We both work in the TV industry.
Glad to have found this fun board and hope to be able to do a group cruise with all of you sometime.
