What a terrific idea!

Alan (Mr. NYFEDS) and I have been married for 35 years (I was in pre-school at the time - Alan is WAY older than me!). We have two daughters, ages 31 and 27. We are the grandparents of one beautiful granddaughter. We moved to So. CA from NY 34 years ago.

Alan is a Sr. Claims Adjuster for Allstate and I am an Executive Assistant at Crowne Plaza Hotel in Orange County, CA.

We never thought we would want to cruise and did so, only as a last resort, for a "safe" vacation on a cruise to Alaska, after 9/11. We were just awestruck at how magnificent the ship was (Navigator) and how incredible the service was on-board. To add to the experience, we met some really wonderful people while sailing; the most special being Ngaire and Ken.

While on our Alaska cruise, we immediately booked our next trip, which was VOF, where we had the time of our lives with truly some of the best people we have ever vacationed with. Our sailing on the Voyager along with our first-time experience going to Europe was magical for us.

We are now hooked on cruising,

I happened upon the cruise message boards purely by accident. My staying on the boards is attributed to the really wonderful people who frequent them each day and add so much to my learning about destinations I had only dreamed about until recently. I'm indeed very fortunate to call so many of you my friend.
