Denise- Thank you and I agree completely with you. I was going to mail the evaluation from home until the Purser, came to see us. I think that is who she was. She asked for our comments and she would personally see they were forwarded to Miami. She wanted this to go to Miami. I trust that she did just that.
These comments aren't earth shattering, they are just very low ratings and a few comments on customer relations and the services of the ship where we had issues.
I can't add anything more. Whether anything is done or even whether they want to do anything isn't something I as one passenger can or should do.
I wanted to put a caution up by telling our experiences, things I couldn't find anywhere when I was looking for information. Anything beyond that might be doing something I don't want to do.
I hope Oceania improves because there are people who want to go on these smaller ships and this can be a wonderful niche market. It has limitations by its size, but people anxious for this will probably accept those. It does more harm when the ones who are anxious for this type of ship, comes back from a cruise and just says everything is PERFECT! They rave the food is the best on the seas. People then go looking for a LOT more than they would otherwise. I really wish the cheerleaders would tone down the rhetoric and let this line grow slowly to what it can be.
I think you folks have a wonderful set of chat boards here and are a great group.
This trip caught us by surprise, and it is only our story. It isn't the end of our world or the end of our cruising. Liz
