Thanks for your response, Liz.
Although you wrote of your issues and left those comments for the ship's crew to turn into corporate, I would follow-up with a letter sent directly by you to corporate. I hate to say this, but often times negative comments (especially with all the distressing issues you've cited) are not turned in, despite assurances that your comments will be turned in.
You had said you were not interested in taking another Oceania cruise. I think you are justified, considering your personal experiences. However, many people are very interested in trying Oceania - myself, included. I do think it only right and fair that you, as well as others with similar experiences and issues, advise corporate in a genuine effort to bring such matters to the attention of those with the ability to correct the problems you and possibly many others have experienced. If I went through such an experience, I would be composing a letter and making calls until a satisfactory resolution was reached to my complete and full satisfaction. Everyone has their way of dealing with dissatisfaction, so I respect your stance. But, again, I would most certainly try my hardest to enlighten upper management so the next person who sets sail on Oceania (or any other cruiseline that offers a similar unsatisfactory experience)has the cruising experience they worked hard for, planned, anticipated, expected and is entitled to.
Just my two cents, Liz. Once again, I thank you for your post.
