absolutely there is not excuse for looting, but some are doing it just to get some things like Water and food for their children. Those stealing tv's etc, I can't understand.

But what gets me, is the powers that be told the city to evacuate, yet did nothing to help those who are the poorest to get out. Now all of a sudden they're finding school busses to take these people to Houston, yet why weren't those busses, as well as city busses employed to move people out BEFORE the storm hit?

And now some of these same politicians are implying that the reason these people didn't get out was because they didn't want to. Give me a break. Ok i'm off my soapbox!
