My church started feeding people today & I just received an email this afternoon that they are extending it through Monday. They are also asking for people to volunteer to do laundry. My Tide box is ready. That is a such a great idea I would have never thought about.
Was glad to see Houma came through better than predicted. COuld you believe that woman from Houma decided to ride the storm out on her boyfriend's shrimp boat with her 3 year old dauhgter. They are OK, but if the state of LA wasn't so busy right now, I think CPS should pay her a little visit.
