All those people were told to evacuate. I know many could not due to financial or lack of transportation problems, but that is no excuse for others to turn into a hoodlum. At this time I have no criticisms of the NO city management nor sympathy for even 1 looter. This type of situation has never happened. As one reporter pointed out last night - when these things happen overseas, there is always a black market to get some supplies. We don't have that alternative here.

Many of the Houston shelters and individual families are taking in pets, but money is still needed so that more can be helped. No animals were allowed in the SuperDome & lives have been lost by people staying with their pets. Thanks for posting the site.
