It might be a good idea to start a post about what time your flights get in and when you are due to depart. That way, if you would like to share transport to the hotels with fellow travelers, you would know who is coming and going the same time as you.

If you are interested, please post your arrival and departure day and times and if you would like to share a taxi van or if you are renting a car. Also post which hotel you will be staying at.

AA uses FOUR different AA terminals. You may all come into different terminals and then have transfer terminals to meet. They are constantly changing gates so you will have to have cell phones to communicate.

You cannot use SKY LINK as this is in the secured area and you have to collect your bags. You can take TERMINAL LINK which is a VAN transfer outside baggage claim on the street. That means lugging your luggage on and off a van or bus and with those Cowboy Boots and Cowboy Hats may not be easy.

Just wanted you to be aware of the complications involved.

Same flight - perfect. If you luck out in the same terminal approximate time, it would work fine. Just wanted you to be aware. The joy of cell phones is you can always call those that are arriving same airline, about same time and see if you can reach them and what terminal everyone is in and if you ARE in the same terminal then share a cab.

Super shuttle set price per person so there is no need to try to co-ordinate that.

Thanks for that heads up Ngaire - here at IAD, AA is in one terminal and it would be easy to hook up with someone coming in on another flight - but haven't been thru DFW in years, sounds like it has grown a lot and four different terminals could mean a lot of confusion.

Leslie, we're also on AA arriving at 2:55 from Orange County. As it gets closer maybe we can find out if we're even in the same terminal and we can share a ride to Aloft...I know DFW is HUGE airport.

Delta changed its schedule so that I would have to change planes both in NY abd ATL so.... I changed my flights so that I come in on Wednesday now instead of Thursday. GIves me more time to shop! Called Aloft to book another night, they told me they were totally booked for that wednesday. Went on line and made a booking... so much for them being "totall booked." If any one else is coming in early and wants to get together let me know.

I guess we are the only ones flying into Dallas Love Field? I liked that option.

Well, it's confirmed We have to cancel. David will be in Germany, and I have a trip to Minneapolis that will take me into Friday. This will be a killer to miss........I'm sure there may be some posts about it though. I'm so sorry to miss this.....

I am so sorry to have to say that Mona and I will not be able to join you in Dallas. The President didn't know about Ngaire's party and he decided to go to Asia that weekend. We were looking forward to seeing everyone again but it's just not going to work out.

My assignment is going to take me to Shanghai for a week. I'm going to need some advice because Mona wants to ease her disappointment with a string of pearls.

Can anyone recommend a good place to buy pearls in Shanghai? I'm going to post the same question on off topic for thoise who aren't reading this thread.

Tom, I am sorry to hear this news, you and Mona will be missed!!

Tom, at least you are giving Mona a great alternative; a week in Shanghai with you. We will have to dig through our paperwork to find the myriad of stores wherein Arlene bought Pearls. We also have a good tailor in the Fabric Market who can make you suits and coats for a pittance.

Thanks Marc. Mona is not going with me. She doesn't want to wait in the hotel while I work 18 hours a day. All the more reason I have to get her a nice gift.
