Great job of stalking, Karen, as always! Looks a little chilly & wet, but I am sure that didn't dampen anyone's spirits!

Tom and Marcie -- Thanks for the photos. The Old City of Quebec still looks wonderful. Karen and I spent part of our honeymoon there 46 yrs ago. As an AF 2nd Lt., we couldn't afford to stay inside the wall, but splurged on two dinners at the Chateau Frontenac. Chateaubriand was something like $US 6.25! Please give our regards to Michael and Stephanie...he was a great help after Karen's fall on the 2010 WC. Have a great cruise.

ONE NIGHT ONLY - HOPEFULLY

The bane of past LCTers, (I can't name names but Andi and Doug know who I am talking about), is performing. Arlene says it is bad etiquette to sit in front row and then get up and leave as she starts to sing. :D

Nah, I wouldn't do it. ;)

Hello everyone finally getting to LCT. With 2013 opening it has been crazy since Tuesday finally getting a few minutes tonight to check things out. Ken posted pictures while I played trivia today - not my team but an LCT team won with of course Marc included. As long as LCT'ers win I am happy!!

Had a nice party tonight it was very noisy as old friends enjoyed each other and new people were meeting everyone. We were in Stars and we had the use of the room privately for our party and with 80 people we filled the place up. Twenty four names were drawn and I will post them under the appropriate thread. We have met some really nice people for the first time on this trip and hope they travel with us again.

Clocks go forward tonight and we plan the first official POOCH and HEARTS card gathering tomorrow at 2.00 pm in Stars it is a sea day. We have found Gallieos pretty crowded so are now gathering in Stars instead becoming our very special bar on this trip.

Staff are great as usual lots of famaliar faces Ken and I feel right at home. Food has been good and looking forward to rack of lamb special order tomorrow at lunch.

Okay off to bed now as Scarlet said "tomorrow is another day".

Marc, Just sing along off key at the top of your lungs along with her. We know she thinks that is proper etiquette. We'll have to make a point to sing hello when we stop by next week. ;)

You folks lucked out with some striking red maples. The pictures look like a tapestry of colors.

Another fun day, pooch and Hearts at 2 and then trivia. A nice relaxing sea day today, smooth seas and sunny. We have met several "new" LCTers whom we are indoctrinating. The food and the staff have just been wonderful. Looking forward to PEI tomorrow and hopefully more great leaf peeping!

A great win at trivia yesterday; it sure helped having Frank, Joann, Jack, Laura, and Arlene on our team as everyone knew answers; Arlene was the only one that knew the answer to the sport's question. :D

Party was great, dinner was great, and so were after dinner drinks. We played Name That Tune. If ever you are on a cruise when Name That Tune is played, try to get Frank on your team. We got 14 out of 17 all due to Frank's immense knowled (Tom and I knew just a few answers).

Today was a two Duvel lunch so I think I am going to fall asleep during my haircut; I might come out of the salon with a shaved head and empty wallet.

Pooch and hearts in the afternoon followed by trivia, treadmill, and another wonderful dinner with a wonderful wife and wonderful companions. I feel like the luckiest guy on the planet.

More later....

Beautiful pictures! Sounds like a wonderful cruise so far. Thanks for checking in for those of us wishing we were there.

How does the Navigator look? We haven't been on that ship since 2003 but are considering an Alaska itinerary on her for 2013.

Oh! Marc!

So few of us remember that Holly Golly Holiday cruise. Guess the Fla homes gave her time off. Is the husband still telling other people's jokes?

Sometimes, a history make things more fun!

Hello from Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Unfortunately, the weather was windy and rainy during most of the tours this morning. Now that we are ready to leave it is bright sunshine. But we're still having a great time as you can see from the pictures.

We are still having a great time. Every port is and adventure, today we did the Anne of Green Gables tour in the rain and wind and cold. We were soaked by the time we got back.

Lots of fun and laughs every night in Stars after dinner. Tonight we scored and additional reservation in Prime 7 to make up for the one I missed not feeling well the first night. Still have another for the 21st. Have not been too good about taking pictures around the ship, using only Frank's camera so he usually has it and does the picture taking. Will work on that tonight, then have to have Ken or Tom post for me since I have no clue how to go about that. LOL.

Bad day at trivia today, us, Peggy, Marcie and our friends Jack and Laura only got 6, very disappointing, two of us ladies knew the golf question but Frank poo pooed it so we put down someone else. Hate it when that happens!!!

One more great night aboard. Dinner with mona and tom, ralph, betty and larry. We had a wonderful dinner. I have always loved the navigator since my first two cruises on this ship before the others were "born", and this one's no different. Service, food, accommodations right up there at the top for me! Fun times with ngaire and ken and others in Stars after dinner.

The only thing I DON'T like is getting thrown off email in the middle and having to sign in all over again. This is the 3rd time since starting this message. Soooo, I will just quit now and damned if it didn't do it again!

Been rainy and windy for the last few days but the seas have been calm so that is good news.

This morning we woke to Ray saying "it is a glorious day" so that was very welcome. It is partly sunny with wind but the SUN is so nice to see. Today we are in Sydney, Nova Scotia. We have been here twice before, once in a terrible rainstorm and once on a gorgeous warm and sunny day. There are a lot of good excursions in this port so I am sure everyone will have a good day.

Ken and I have not been taking too many excursions it seems the days are full enough already. Between emails, pooch, hearts and Marc and I like to play scrabble. Then of course there is trivia plus eating and generally visiting with everyone. Lots of questions about 2013 cruises as well. We are busy all day.

Tomorrow we are in Halifax and are taking a tour called "Lobsters and Lighthouses" the key word there is Lobsters! A very civil departure time of 11.55 am.

Met some great new people on this trip and that is that is always fun, particularly when they post on LCT.

Ken went out for some exercise I have caught up on things and shortly will be heading to lunch with Ralph so have to sign off now.

We are in Sydney today. Larry and I did not book an excursion today and I slept until 10:00. Wow, ya think I'm catching up on my sleep? We walked into the cute little town. It is chilly today, but not raining and freezing like yesterday.
This cruise is turning out to be a favorite. The ship is wonderful and the service great and what a special group of fellow cruisers!
cheer

Had a perfect tour today to Fortress of Louisbourg, it was a reconstruction from 1744 with characters portraying their days, be it a soldier, a servent, a wife, whatever. It was most enjoyable. Weather cool but sunny today so no problem there.

Came back on board and had fun lunch with Betty & Larry in CR. This afternoon we're going to a special event for Gold, Platinum, Titanium, fiddle player/River Dancing performance. After this I'll probably play some Hearts or Pooch, then tea, then trivia, then Bingo. Tom will go to pilates or yoga and walk around the track.

Tonight we're eating with Tom & Mona and Chuck & Valerie in CR. Last night we ate at Prime 7 with Mike & June Gittings. I had lobster tail...an A +

Lots of fun...the Navigator seems perfect Priscilla. No noticeable vibration, perfect service, excellent food and haven't heard of any brown water cases. You'll be happy!

Joanna we are having a great time but missing you and Tony tremendously. Sent you a pm

LCTers not doing real well at trivia, we have only had LCTers win once. Oh well more games to come!

I have decided Marc and I need to spend a month driving through this area in the summer time. The scenery is beautiful and so many things to see. We will definitely be coming back one day.

Leaves are starting to be just past peak here I am hoping they are staying nice for us the rest of the trip. I hope some others post pictures so you all can see how lovely these places are.

Off to 7 Seas party ...

We miss you and Tony Joanna for sure. Sorry we missed you, but glad you got the message.

Frank went on the walking tour today while I wimped out. While he was gone though I went to the gym and did 30 minutes on the treadmill and then a mile on the bike. Ankle is still healing so taking it easy but trying to keep up some exercise to work off all this food and booze.

Our team had 20 out of 23 right in trivia, but alas the winners had 22!!!

Tomorrow Frank and I are doing the beer brewery tour, that should be interesting and an excurse to drink again. Sigh......

Dinner last night was Prime 7 and I loved every bite of my meal. Yum.

Tonight dinner with Ralph and Olivia, plus our two couples. (In the picutures above the two you don't recognize are our friends Jack and Laura Dreyfus, long time very good friends)and they are having fun getting to know everyone and playing trivia, pooch, bingo, etc.

Thanks for all the news! I was reminded that when we docked at Sydney in '04 on the Navigator, we were greeted by a bagpiper playing Amazing Grace - awesome! DH was so thrilled he called DS in Raleigh so he could hear it! Did y'all have that?

P.S. Lookin' good, Marc!
