Seward was a pretty damp kind of day. Apart from the Sea Life Centre there was not much in town. So we got to see puffins, sea lion and seals <img src="http://i15.photob...; alt="A Puffin in Seward"> <img src="http://i15.photob...nt\'s Seven Puddles Mariner II"> We also hired a car to go and see some of the scenery out of town. Kodiak was a surprise. More there than we expected. I went hiking through Fort Abercrombie with Linda and Ed. Mother on the other hand did the overview tour which she loved - a real mix of things to see. No photos uploaded for Kodiak as the ships internet is misbehaving. We are now sailing to Dutch Harbor - home of the TV series "Deadliest Catch." I expect to find a very raw frontier town (like Longyearbyen in Spitzbergen) so it should be interesting. More pics are posted at http://s15.photobucket.com/albums/a354/mjohnson555/2009%20Rockies%20and%20Alaska/

Captain Dag on the job!
Apologies and congratulations to all those who've got this far with Michael's photos! I asked him to post a 'few' which in my language means 'four'. Didn't mean to completely take over the LCT board!
