I don't want to speak too soon, but it really looks like thanks to Radisson we will be taking our free cruise! Considering all the turmoil they have gone through over the past several months, I'm so pleased that they have been this responsive to my plight! So.....Bermuda in May here we come!! They won't promise a cabin with a balcony, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for that too! :app:
Thanks to you all for all the help, advice, patience and understanding! :nw:

So who came thru, Radisson or Travelocity? Anyway, that's great news. :woh: :woh:
(editing: well, if I would read more carefully, I would see that you said thanks to Radisson. DUH)

That's such fantastic news!
I had some kind of email from Travelocity not too long ago, telling me if I did something or other, I might win a trip. I muttered "yeah, right" as I deleted it.

If I were to place my bets, I would say that it is Radisson who is making this happen. Congrats Sue! We will all be waiting to hear more. Sue, I would also bet that if there's a balcony cabin available when you board, it will be yours. No reason for them not to keep you happy, especially considering the way this whole thing has evolved.

That is wonderful Sue. One of the girls in my office had a cruise she has been waiting for on standby. Well right now we are out to August to even get a chance of getting on. The ships are really full so I know they did go to bat for you and that is how it should be - have a wonderful time.

Sue, you said "thanks to Radisson, we will be taking"..
Did you hear directly from Radisson or Mark Conroy?
Congrats anyhow.

Sue - Finally good news for you!!!! Please keep us informed. We honeymooned in Bermuda (30 years ago!!!!!) and went back on our first ever cruise the next year (HAL). Have been really interested in going back to see how she's fared. Would love to be aboard with you in May - however already booked on an RCI cruise out of Baltimore (we are treating my parents for my dad's 85th...and Baltimore is just a 90 minute drive away.) ANyway - I will be thinking about you!!!!!

It was Mark Conroy and his staff who worked miracles. Alex Sharpe is the person I've been dealing with. When we got the time off and I confirmed with them, I also e-mailed Travelocity and the response I got was that they would "cross their fingers" and hope I got on this cruise. Since I have to take it by June I was running out of time for crossed fingers to help! Radisson does anticipate that this cruise will sell out, but said I'd be on it anyway. I really appreciate their efforts on my behalf. Still keeping my fingers crossed for that balcony though - I guess I'm never satisfied! Then only 5 months till 007 and our first time on the Voyager! Thanks for all the good thoughts!
Sue
