Ardis, thanks!

We would also like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukah. We are getting ready to head over to Arlene's Mother's house. Also, a Bon Voyager to all those sailing this week.

Happy holidays to all the LCT members. This is a wonderful group of people and Ken and I look forward to being with so many of you in the coming year. Thinking back we have made so many new friends I cannot imagine not having LCT now. Without the members LCT would NOTHING.

A special thank you needs to go out to Karen for volunteering to monitor and moderate this board and to John for coming up with it in the first place. Two visionaries in my book!!!

Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukah to everyone. I know we'll all be having a Happy New Year because we'll be travelling and/or cruising somewhere--fair seas and following winds to all!

Happy Holidays to you all. May this next week and year be joyful and all that you would wish for. We are really blessed.

Thank you Ngaire, Ken, Karen and John for giving us all LCT. It's a great gift of friendship.

I'm off to cook for a houseful. My kitchen awaits - can barely close the fridge. Our tradition is to have a buffet dinner where we all stand around the dining room eating and drinking (Todd's Twisted Cosmos tonight using Limoncello instead of Cointreau or Triple Sec) until everyone goes home except Frank's kids and we open gifts.

Happy holidays, everyone! Thanks to Ngaire and our moderators for this wonderful site.

This has to be my favorite day of the year. We're having our best friends over for dinner as always, the kitchen is brimming with wonderful food, and wine will flow as if this were a Radisson ship. I wish you all could be here with us today. Merry Christmas!

Karen, that's funny. Almost missed it. Does ZuZu say that every time a bell rings, an LCT member has booked a cruise? :D

Yes, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all our LCT friends.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all!

Today I'm a wreck because I'm cooking! An oddity in my house! So my short term wish is that nobody gets food poisoning and after that I second Betty's motion cheer !

Dear friends, and I feel that way even though I've not met one of you!,

My very best wishes for a wonderful holiday season!

Many thanks to Ngaire, Karen and John for providing me with a fascinating venue for information, entertainment, and what I feel are wondeful friendships. I think one of our highlights this year was Amanda and Masaki's baby shower - how amazing was that!

MAYBE one of these days, we'll meet!

Wishing all of this great group a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Can't quite get in the Christmas spirit with 80 deg temps and with not having been home over the holidays for the last 3 years. It will seem different not being at sea for New Years, but we're getting that old feeling with docs expected in early Jan for the SA Mariner cruise. Guess I'll just have to go play a round of golf this afternoon to keep myself occupied. Have a great day all!

Whew, a little late here, but Merry Christmas and Happy Hanuka (yet another spelling I found) to every one here! I just put the last kid out the dooor for the night after a wonderful Christmas dinner that I got to cook (read....tired), leave in the a.m. for PARTY, and hope to post from the Voyager during the next two weeks! It will be exciting to be onboard when the tier program is unveiled!

I'm with you, Cindy. Exhausted from my 4 days in the kitchen although everyone pitched in and our Christmas was the best ever. I have a 4 hour lull before the next houseguests arrive.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a good start to Hanukah.

The kugel was good, Denise. Everyone loved it even though I messed up the recipe. When I was preparing it on Saturday, was working too quickly and included the streusel topping in with all the other ingredients. Still tasted good. I also was mixing up my cornbread for the dressing and wondered why it was so gloppy. Well, duh, I had used flour instead of cornmeal. Had to start all over. That's what happens when the cook is tired and trying to prepare cornbread, kugel and yule log all at the same time. Thanks for the recipe. My Jewish guests truly appreciated being included.

So good to hear that you and your guests liked it. As long as it tasted good, that's all that matters!

Funny story about the cornbread! You sure had a lot of cooking to contend with! I bet everything was wonderful!

Get some well-deserved R&R now!

The R&R will have to wait a few days. MIL and SIL here until Thurs. morning. Today I introduced them to Chico's :) . After their purchases, I told the sales clerk that I deserved a finder's fee! One thing about all that cooking, the leftovers have lasted for two nights. Tomorrow night, we're eating out :app: .

I really like Chico's, too, Donna. Even better shopping when you can find beautiful things on sale!

I love leftovers! I prepared marinated and braised short ribs and homemade chicken soup for the first two nights of Hanukkah. Enough leftovers now for two more dinners!

Season Greeting....a bit late but heartfelt!

I'm finally able to sit down and read LCT...the kids are still here, but they're asleep at 5 AM!

We've had a wonderful time with family and friends - especially after being away for 6 weeks.

Everyone who is important to me was here in our home for Christmas. I couldn't ask for a more special gift than that.

Hope the new year brings all of you health, happiness and lots of wonderful days at sea!

Our family Christmas didn't begin until Monday night when both boys arrived with their families, a total of 5 grandchildren, ages 1-9. On Tues., we had the "Grand Opening" of gifts and later, a lovely Christmas dinner. The kids all played well together and we enjoyed. As of yesterday afternoon, we are back to quiet and a house that looks like a tornado hit!

Enjoy the REST, Margo! I am!
