Just FYI - I have had some emails about destinations for 2017 but until the itineraries and pricing is released it is pretty hard to make any decisions.

We will be in South Africa from May 23rd - June 30th and on Silversea in the Arctic from August 8th - 22nd. So we can only do cruises in the September to December time frame.

These are the areas that some have sent me as things to look at for 2017. Hope I did not miss anything that was requested.

New England
British Isles with a back to back
Some kind of crossing or one with sea days and great pricing
Asia
Southeast Asia, Vietnam, Thailand itinerary (new request)

Ken and I will go where the majority of interest lies and we have no preferences. We will be on the Mariner when the schedules come out and after everyone has looked at the options please let me know where your interest lies by posting on LCT or by sending me an email keene@keenetravel.com

Then I will see what the majority of people are interested in doing and make some decisions as quickly as i can. So those that want to make bookings early and get prime cabin locations will have the information they need.

Wow, got my imagination moving! Mary and I will celebrate my "big" birthday in late 2017 (or early 2018). My ideal cruise is Tokyo to Dubai on Explorer with overnights in Shanghai (it's been 25 years) and "Burma". Next favorite would be Sydney via Auckland to Lima or BsAs.

Ngaire, any chance of a repeat of Lima to Buenos Aires with a pre-cruise in Machu Pichu? I believe you escorted this trip was in 2010.

Shanghai - I am up for any trip that goes to Shanghai. I am checking out Burma (Myanmar) later this year but this has been on my bucket list for a long time. Sounds good to me.

Hopefully something like this will be on the itineraries in late 2017 or early 2018.

I enjoyed my last cruise with Linda when we went to Burma/Myanmar this past January! But love always a visit to Shanghai! Seems Asia and South America are perfect for the winter if you don't want to go to the Caribbean.

There maybe a trip featuring Shanghai the first part of 2018 to consider as well

I noticed that the Beijing to Singapore cruise going on right now is a charter; I wonder what happened to those that wanted to book Tokyo to London or somewhere in the middle?

edited to add: Of course, instead of a charter it could be a dry dock in Vietnam or Bangkok and they are sailing empty Beijing to Singapore.

Good question I have no idea! The ship is certainly doing something on those missing days.

There are enough people who want this itinerary below Ken and I will definitely be doing this in the fall of 2017 - every year they offer these itineraries.

Southampton to Southampton - British Isles
Southampton to either Barcelona or Monte Carlo - France, Portugal and Spain.

Only big question is the ship - it will be either the Voyager or Explorer as they are in this area of the world at that time. Also of course the pricing.

THANK YOU!!!!

:LCT:

Northwest Passage cruise is way too early; leaves Seward on 19 July. Even with an ice hull that is a real early start.

edited to add; Now you can either purchase with business class air or no air; doesn't look like option for coach; interesting marketing.

edited further to add: New Platinum and Titanium discounts for choice shore excursions and land programs can be pretty valuable; i just wish they had added free cruises similar to Silverseas.

We'd love to do Montreal to Miami or New York. Looking forward to seeing you on the ship tomorrow.

Montreal to New York in 60 days is really the "slow boat to China."

Would you and Jerry per chance be interested in Rome to Beijing spending New Year's Eve in Beijing?

marc

PS Are Jamie and Dana staying onboard tomorrow? Davor?

It will depend on what most people want I am keeping a list. Both the Montreal to Miami and the China cruise in December are on the list already and ones I had singled out as probably going to be popular. I am turning into a mind reader.

There is nothing really to China first half of 2018 so 2027 might be good. I love Shanghai.

LCTERS LET ME KNOW HERE OR BY EMAIL WHAT YOU HAVE AN INTEREST IN DOING. BE MUCH EASIER ONCE THE ITINERARIES ARE ON LINE

BEFORE THE BOOKINGS OPEN I WILL POST WHAT KEN AND I ARE PLANNING ON ESCORTING BASED ON THE CRUISES WITH THE MOST INTEREST.

OUR CRUISES ALL HAS TO BE APPROVED BUT NORMALLY NO PROBLEMS.

Voyager March 24,2018 Bali to Hong Kong and April 8 2018 Hong Kong to Bangkok are proving popular too.

I really, really wish that British Isles one wasn't in September; I had told Andrea (my oldest granddaughter) that we would do a British Isles cruise when she graduates college but that time frame would be when she had already started grad school. She will be studying in London this Summer, though, so she'll be doing weekends around the area with the other students. Maybe one day.

We like the LA-Hawaii-LA cruise. We've done it on one of the big ships, but would love to try it on Regent. Anybody else?

Peggy, I didn't see that one but we too may be interested in that...no flying sounds wonderful to us.

I think we have settled on Rome to Beijing Oct-Dec 17 with post extending through New Year's Eve. If anyone else is interested either in the snorkeling or parka legs of this cruise; we would love to share with friends.
