We were able to easily dock in Ushuaia yesterday. The wind was fairly calm, but it was pretty cold. Since we'd been in Ushuaia several times before, we didn't take a tour. We did walk into town for a short while among the throngs from the Celebrity ship docked next to us. There were also several Antarctica expedition ships docked on the pier. Today we're rocking our way across the Atlantic to the Falkland Islands. I'm hoping the weather will permit us to stop there, but it's always iffy. After tomorrow, it's a couple sea days and then on to Buenos Aires. My food and drink tank is completely full, so I'm ready to go home when we get there. Tonight we'll celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary in Signatures. That 50 years went by in a flash!

That's so awesome! What fantastic way to celebrate. Very happy for you two! Thanks for reporting in. I've Googled some of the areas where you weren't able to post photos just to get an idea of the landscape. I'm definitely adding that cruise to my list!

Thanks everyone. We had a wonderful meal in Signatures last night, then went to watch the Argentinian tango/gaucho show in the theater. Our actual anniversary isn't until Friday, but we'll be on a plane, so thought we'd celebrate last night. Today we're in the Falkland Islands. It's still cold, but at least the sun is out and the wind has died down. We'll go in and have a Boddington's Beer at the Globe Tavern. Two more sea days and we head for home from Buenos Aires. It's been a great trip--wish all of you were here.
