It can't come too soon for me! Some of you get to break up the monotony with FJORDS, at least we will have seamail to read for a few weeks! I am also passing the time shopping, Mark probably wishes the cruise was sooner than later ;) I have only bought 3 new pairs of shoes so I am good girl.

Just yesterday I bit the bullet and opted for Business class through Regent. I was belaboring over the long flight (I had knee surgery not too long ago), and decided to buy myself an expensive Christmas gift! I know I'll be more comfortable. This being my first Regent cruise, I really wanted to splurge....! Jini

We wish we were going on this cruise. It sounds like such great fun; but we'll just be returning a few days before from CROSS. Thus, it ain't in our future.

I can't believe this, we met you on the Crystal Symphony in Dec 2005, had dinner together in Jade Garden, on Dec 10th to celebrate Carol's and my birthday which was on Dec 9. I had read your post on CC, and seen that JimB had directed you here.

All I can say is you are in for a wonderful cruise with a group of wonderful cruisers's from this board. I know you will love them to death. We have met many of those on your cruise, and I can guarantee you a great time with them.

Truly a small world! Yes, I do remember our birthday dinner on Crystal. That WAS a fun cruise, indeed!

Gary & I were on the Paul Gauguin a number of years ago, so this is our 2nd Radisson/Regent cruise.

We, too, are doing a TransAtlantic, but in Nov of 2008 (Barcelona to Miami) on Oceania's Regatta (our 2nd T/A). We were recently on their Nautica for a Greek Isle cruise and really loved the ship & cruise line.

Carol - nice to hear from you. We did the Regetta in Feb after our Crystal with you. We really enjoyed it and will definitely cruise them again in the near future. They have great itineraries.

Hopefully we will have a chance to see you on a cruise again sometime.

Hi We have just booked this fantastic looking itinerary. I'll confess we've been lurking on the board for a bit, but decided to join in. We've cruised with RSSC before on the Voyager, Monte Carlo to FLL and Loved It! We can't wait to experience Mariner. Strayed for a bit, we admit, but are now back to our favorite cruise line.
After hearing great things from our friends Don and Michele, we've joined the group and are really looking forward to LAMB with all of you.
We live in the Mid-Atlantic and will fly from LAX to Auckland on AZ1 on November 29th.

Did not book this cruise thru B&K, but I was wondering if B&K was offering any small group shore excursions for LAMB. Do they even do this sort of thing? I understand (via cruise critic) you can book Regent's shore excurions as of 8/5.

Gary, I don't think we have any B&K excursions planned.

Gary, Ngaire is not permitted for professional and ethical reasons to include non-clients on anything she plans for her own for clients. She follows the rules to a "t", as I know she is sensitive to this. Just don't want you to feel you are being excluded from anything planned just for BK clients. LCT things are sort of organized by "us" for gatherings, totally different.

That's OK; with our NZ land tour prior to the cruise, we probably wouldn't be able to use it anyway. However, our TA is associated with Virtuoso and we get a complimentary shore excursion in Moorea as a perk.
BTW, I see you're from Perinton. My wife was born in Rochester and grew up in Henrietta. We met at the U of R.

I too will be on this cruise. I had planned to do it a few years ago but had to cancel because I just couldn't make the time. This year, I am determined to make it and 90% certain that I will. It's a long trip (by my standards anyway) and filled with quite a few sea-days but I'm looking forward to every second of it. I shall be in a category F, eith floor cabin.
