This trip sounds like SO much fun! I love hearing from you all. I am a little disappointed that Bloody Mary's is closed; hoping it will be open in time for our visit, which I think is New Year's Day & Jan 2nd. We didn't make it there our last time to Bora Bora.

Hi, Everyone...

Thanks for the welcome, Michele, Joanna and Marcie. I also got to meet Betty. Look forward to spending more time. Fred and Pat have spoke of you fondly......As well as Ngaire....Thanks for clearing up the LCT/B&K thing. This cruise there's a whole lot of fun people at the pool bar. Just met Bill and Mary Ann. I think I had a "Jim B." sighting in the Mariners lounge.

Thanks, Ken, for the beautiful pics!

Please give Bill and Mary Ann our best. We met them a few moons ago on the SA cruise.

Keep it up, gals. We're enjoying it! Remember .. pui is grand (posting under the influence) is keeping up the CROSS tradition, NOT a Tahitian expression of joy.

Cheers, Anne

More terrific pictures! Thanks for posting them. I'm sure glad you finally have sun.....the Pearlies must be bringing you good luck. Betty, Bora Bora's blue water is beautiful but personally I liked Moorea much better. Whose the winner of the free cruise? We want details of the Pearl/Lamb meet and greet too!

I LOVE the picture of the entertainment staff caught in mid-dive. Ken, you should submit that to Regent, to use as a page in their cruise atlas next year! It's that good.

Gooood morning! It's been awhile since I posted so I will try and catch up. Last night was our dinner with the Pearlies and it was SUCH fun! Hi to Gil, Arlene (who I FINALLY got to meet!!) and Parislady40 who is a absolute delight and who I think Mark might have a crush on. Seeing Debbie and Russel was wonderful as well.

Last night, due to a wardrobe malfunction, (the joke of the night!!!) I called it and early night and Mark stayed out with Marcie and Tom. He is regretting it this morning as he is a bit green in the gills.

Today is a lovely sea day, I think I might bake a bit on the pool deck. I spent an hour on my balcony this morning with my coffee, it was the perfect "Corona commercial" hour. Big white puffy clouds, blue skys and sea as far as the eye can see. You can't get much better than that!

That's it for now, I will check in more often now that we have 8 sea days coming up!

9:35 am - We got off the ship yesterday and I lasted for 4 blocks and did a U turn and went back to ship too hot to walk around - Great get together with Pearlies last night - fun seeing Gil and Arlene (nice finally meeting A) and Parislady, Ruth and her husband, are wonderful so glad we had chance to meet them - also Debbie and Russ and Debbie's parents all made the evening very special - we called it an early night and woke to sunny skies this morning - everyone seems to be congregated in coffee bar and I know you all will be delighted with winner (s) of free cruise!!!!! :lct: :lct:

Hi Ann and Gary,

We got your message from Marcie yesterday! Thanks for remembering us since it has been four years this October since the South America cruise.
Things here have been great, of course. We haven't done any reports this trip.......just taking a vacation and getting spoiled by the staff!
Happy Holidays,

Mary Ann & Bill

Keeping busy on this sea day but so far it's been profitable....won 3 tokens today plus I won our Texas Hold'em game $$$...lots better than token$$. Ralph came in 2nd so it was fun playing head to head. Tomorrow should be Mark's turn to win. Tom had dancing practic at 2 so had to miss. He's having a sore back and may need to drop out of the competition. He's going to wait and see how it is tomorrow. He's been going in the jacuzi twice a day to see if that helps. As fun as all the dancing is, it sure isn't worth it to screw up his back (he's had back troubles on and off for years).

Tonight is our small cocktail party in our 2 suites. Last night was great meeting the Pearlies. Nice finally getting to meet Arlene. Great group and the highlight when the name of the winners were drawn. We had a fun table at Latitudes with the usual laughing thoughout dinner. Tonight we're eating with Ralph and Carol and the Mondaes. We're already missing Ngaire and Ken!

Off to trivia now to try to up my token count!

I don't know what is more fun...reading about all the adventures, or trying to figure out who is posting under who's name! I hope Tony can stay in the dance competition, only because it would be such a fun story to relay and brag about for years to come. Tony, aside from the jacuzzi, get a few massages.
Can't wait for tomorrow.

Gorgeous pool day - pool was rough at times due to small winds - fun! Rocking and rolling in the water - It is 5:40 PM and they are setting up our suite for party - I escaped for few minutes - congrats Dena and Grant we were all very happy you won (LCTer) - tomorrow nice weather, too, so they say - view from our balcony is so pretty - sun went down so should be nice not too hot for party - talk to you in the am - we have laptop in our room but Tony is territorial about the damn thing - not worth the aggravation I do everything wrong on HIS laptop - so NO late night posting with my nightcap/nightshirt GRRRRR

Fun party at Tony, Joanne, Marcie and Tom’s tonight, lots of laughs. First, Alan and I had wine and nibbles on our balcony (must make butler, Raju, happy). Then, the party and then dinner with more wine. Guess I’m posting CUI again.

Last night, our party with the Pearlies was so much fun. Congratulations, Dena and Grant, so happy for you about the free cruise win. Alan and I enjoyed meeting Gil and Arlene and Parislady and husband. After dinner, some of us (Jan, Jim, Michele, Don, Debbie, Ngaire, Ken and ?) ended up in Observation Lounge to listen to Nature’s Rhythm (Filipino group that sings Beatles, Beach Boys, etc.).

Soon it was time for Ngaire and Ken and the rest of the Pearlies to leave. Don, Michele, Alan and I stayed on to listen to Hal Fraser perform Elton John. We pooped out before Hal did. Alan and I returned to our cabin and watched the sail away from our balcony. We spotted Ngaire and Ken standing at the railing on the Paul Gaugin and waved goodbye once again. We’ll really miss them.

Today has been a beautiful day at sea. I woke up with good intentions so went to my first morning exercise class for this cruise. For lunch, the fish barbecue on the pool deck was awesome. Then, we attended our first lecture of this cruise. Although it was interesting, Alan and I both struggled to stay awake. So, nap time for us.

We’ve skipped tonight’s entertainment to call it an early night. We’re having a hard time keeping up the pace. Tomorrow’s a formal night so we’ll be all rested. Must say, Pacific crossings are our favorite.
