Here it is - almost.
The long-awaited bestseller that Arlene has been slaving over for the past year.

Even though the book is not totally completed yet, it is now on Amazon. The Cover & Title & synopsis.

The publisher picked one of the drawings done for the book as the cover. At the recent Rittnehouse Art Show in Philly, that particular drawing sold quickly, with people coming back to the booth trying to buy it even after it was sold.

Arlene,

Congratulations!! Such a labor of love!

I continue to be "mind-boggled" at what you produce in your medium! While I love the cover, love your fruit/flower still lifes even more and hope they're in the book. Can't wait to see it!

Thank you everyone. It is very exciting to see ones name on Amazon. I had no say on the cover, but thought they did an excellent job. They even used my favorite color - RED. I wish I could say I was finished with the book, but my editor keeps throwing new stuff at me. It's the never ending book.

Trust me when I say that this book would never have been completed without Gils help. He was invaluable to me, whether providing a photograph I needed to massaging my back, hand and shoulders, when they started to hurt from too much drawing to editing or helping me write a section.

We'll be celebrating a few months before the book is out. We'll be celebrating with everyone on PEARLS.

Thank you again everyone. I really appreciate the warmth and support of all the LCT members. I hope this isn't seen as soliciting but I'll have autographed copies available on my website, closer to the publish date. Karen if it's not allowed please just remove it.

I will be waiting anxiously for the book to become available; I want it for my oldest granddaughter who is fairly talented in several mediums. She just plays around with it, but I'm still going to give her the book.

Congratulations, Arlene. As the others have said, the cover photo is awesome! Before opening this thread I thought it would be about a new pet. I'm sure this baby has been TONS more work that a new puppy or kitty! I sure do admire your amazing talent. :app:

To everyone else, thank you. I've almost got the baby put to bed. Then it's just a question of waiting.
