Some of them have served as a good reminder--to me, at least--to keep in mind the individuality of tastes when "advising" new cruisers or people considering a particular line for the first time. "You will love it" is very different from "I love it." The long, leisurely dinners at an 8-person table are one of my favorite aspects of RSSC cruises. But some, like you, don't enjoy that. I'd never even thought about that aspect before. Just taken it for granted. And I usually opt for the port-intensive cruises, as I start to go stir-crazy in days at sea. Others here love the days at sea. And my last three cruises included docking for multiple days in one place, which I've found I love. That one day and you're off to the next place that you found a bit annoying also annoys me. Some places, one day is enough to sample it. But others deserve more time and a shot at the night life.
