Karen, I'm with you.......some of our most fun, memorable dinners have been the loooong ones where you are having such a good time and so much laughter that you almost hate to leave the table! I also think it really adds to the entire cruise experience when you get to know the staff and the interaction.

As for the tipping Mrs. Moose, I'm a bit sorry to hear that you tipped especially on a one week cruise. Of course I know it's a very personal thing and we each do what is right for us but I really do think the "Gratuities included" should be just that, especially on a one week cruise. This is just my opinion.

I'm thankful the seas were calm for you as I know this was a concern for you. That's good news!
