Anne, I have 3 AMX cards: "Real" Platinum, Delta Platinum, and Starwood. We have the Platinum card for the $300 cabin credit, the Delta Platinum because we have a lot of Delta miles, and until this year, Delta had numerous double- and triple-mile promotions (they still have their Always Double miles for certain purchases). Recently, I got the Starwood card precisely because of its airline flexibility and 5K bonus when transferring 20K. However, right now Delta is giving bonuses for threshold spending, so we're back to using it a lot. My post was only meant to confirm the information about Capital One, and I guess to rant a bit because Capital One could get our business if they had a program that enabled us to obtain Business Class seats for reasonable points/mileage.
