Agreed .. I follow Marcie & Tom's credit card advice. The Capital One does save money on foreign currency transactions. It's not as user-friendly as my other cards. Be sure to call them to advise when & where you travel, as well as an estimate of what you plan to charge. If you don't, they look at your recent usage ($0 in my case). Then you get the card rejected when you've found something wonderful in the gold souk. Don't let it happen to you! LOL!
