I do think that the credit card fees or bank fees you pay one way or another. Pay here in US dollars or pay in Rand in South Africa. They always have a way "to get you".

I know Capital One does not charge a transaction fee but I have often wondered if they just add it to the rate they use for the exchange.

Ken and I are planning on buying some items of the exact cost. One on MC and one on AMX and comparing. We were considering getting a Capital One card just to try it out. If it really is an benefit we travel so much.

Anyone else really checked this out???
