Say somebody is especially adverse to lines and cavalier service and a bit of a gourmet and wino. Would you advise this nut to try the Voyager or should he go to SeaBourne , or should he stay home. Is the Voyager really great in say a Penthouse A cabin?

I have sailed Voyager twice in a Cat H (steerage) cabin. Fantastic. Great cabin, service, food, and people. Never a problem with lines.
The ship is 700 max pax (really 650 would be full) vs 200 for Seabourn. Four restaurants on Voyager (I don't know how many on Seabourn). Good wine flows freely at dinner along with cocktails and after dinner drinks. It is a wonderful ship.

Arthur, You can't go wrong with either of the two lines you mentioned, you won't find lines and food and service is great on Radisson and from what I hear, great on Seabourn, too. What you won't find are true balconies on Seabourn. They do have "French" balconies which from what I understand are not wide enough to fit a chair. I think I would choose from SilverSea or Radisson.

Arthur, check out the floor plan of the Voyager Penthouse A on the RSSC website. It is only 14 square feet larger than the standard cabin. Of course, if you require a butler, they are only available in Penthouse B and above. The Penthouse suites are much larger on the Mariner, and would be worth the extra fare.
The absence of balconies is the one thing that keeps me from booking with Seabourn. But I hear many wonderful things about the line.

Arthur, I just posted a lenghty dissertation on the difference between the Navigator and Crystal Harmoney. It's in this forum under Serenity.
We've been on the Seabourn Sun, but not the smaller ships.
Bob is in two wine clubs, we live near Napa and Sonoma Valleys, so our car knows the way to the wineries.
If you saw our waistlines, you would know we live in Gourmet Gulch.
We are converts to RSSC.
