Uh...Marcie, are you and Tom and Al and I all sharing a cabin?? Those are nice-sized cabins, but that might be a little TOO cozy for 111 days!

We're in 648, across the hall from you, just great as far as we're concerned --

Ngaire said they're not into segments yet; maybe next week. Lynn and I are hoping for a Cat F on the first segment. We'll see. SA is getting closer Marcie. Look forward to seeing you and Tom again in Buenos Aires.

Marcie; There are some others from the 2005 WC aboard for the full cruise to SA, but they don't post here. Barbara&Ann and Dr. Jim&Jane are aboard. You'll like Warren&Judy Waite. They're gamblers and Warren tells jokes nonstop.

Oh yes....I know sooooo many 2005 WC who are on our SA trip! Many opted for SA since the '06 itinerary was so similar to the '05 WC. It will be like old home week Huh Doug?

OK, Marcie, add the lovely Miss Lynn and me for the first segment FLL-Cape Town in 824. We had asked for Cat F starboard side in the 727-737 area, but what they gave us is good, so we're keeping it. See you in Buenos Aires.

Doug, I thought you weren't supposed to find out until 15 December? My mother and step father (you remember them from canal trip) also put in for that segment. I need to call and see if they have heard.

Marc; Don't know the order they're going in, but most single segment folks are just getting a category guarantee, vice an assigned stateroom. Why we got an assigned stateroom I don't know; maybe because we had multiple segments on the 2005 WC. Anyway, they're progressing past the full WC folks. If you're folks are one the list, they'll be hearing something soon.

Marcie; You can add Joe&Karyn Doucet, as well as Bob&Alice Wecht to the first segment from FLL-Cape Town. Just heard from both today, but no stateroom #s yet. We've cruised with them several times and they're lots of fun.

Doug, I added them under "Non LCT" since this roll call is really intended for LCT people.

Marcie; Karyn&Joe Doucet are customers of Ngaire. Their last RSSC cruise was the Iceland/Norway cruise on Navigator this past summer. Lots of LCTers know them. They've been pretty busy lately, since they live in New Orleans and Galiano, LA. Bob&Alice Wecht are known by some on this board, as well. They do not book with Ngaire, even though I've tried to get them to many times.

Marcie, this is the Karyn & Joe from Las Vegas. They are extremely nice. Spent alot of time chatting with them at the Sunday brunch during the Las Vegas weekend. You will enjoy cruising with them. Somewhere on this board is what happened to their property from Katrina. Didn't get hit as hard as many, but had, and maybe still have, a house full of family that weren't so lucky.

Good eye Suzie - I didn't even notice. No problem Marcie - I'm sure there will be much editing in the next year!

Ted, congrats! That is a GREAT suite! I can just imagine having that hot tub right next to the window on sea days! Hope you and Joan will have the time of your lives, and know that the symphony and all the other things you might miss will be back in your lives in no time!

We'd better be careful not to use that tub on days in port - may wind up in jail!

What a cool suite. I would love that hot tub (on sea days of course). Congratulations on a wonderful cruise. Sometimes it's nice to take a break from volunteer work, symphony, etc. You'll appreciate them all the more when you return. Have a terrific adventure!

I have had to promise to construct a monster, portable collage of all Grandchildren as well as providing an UNLIMITED e-mail account. I wonder how many minutes will be used in 111 days? Seriously, we are both looking forward to it. We have postponed our fall Africa trip - enough, already!

Ted, perhaps you should take over Marcie's position last year of providing us with a "log" of the going's on of the ship and your adventures? It might be an assignment that would give some higher purpose to your trip? All of us at home who have this dream would really love it. And after all, you have those great writing skills!

Flattery will get you everywhere, but I must defer to Marcie! It was her chronicle that drove us (and I'm sure others) to embark on this adventure. In addition, I'm a two finger typist, so would need more than 53 sea days to describe one day in port!

Ted, it seems like a small thing to provide. A little compromise will get you a long way. In this case, all around the world.

Thank you for the kind words Ted! As much fun as it was reporting back to all my LCT family, I would be very happy to hand over the reins to you! My writing skills are more like "babble" and I think it would be great for those left behind here to get a different prospective. You can be the primary and I can fill in with the "babble"!

Marcie we all were anxiously awaiting your babble!!! It was very entertaining and I dont think any of us considered it "babble". Two reporters will be wonderful - different perspectives and more "stuff" to read. I love SEA MAIL.

Ted, I think we could work well together...you can do the Front Page/Featured Article type things including the ports and weather. I could be behind the scenes with the "About Town"(or in this case "About the Voyager"/Gossip column type things.

A regular Clark Kent and Lois Lane (without Jimmy Olson)
