My sister Diane (coffeecup) and I will be traveling with Tauck on a river cruise, starting Amsterdam and ending Brussels. It's tulip time there.

Diane, if only we all didn't have all those expenses at home, we could just cruise on just about anything, couldn't we? I have always wanted to do a Tauck cruise OR land trip. Have always heard great things about this "brand". Will be eager to hear your reports, hoping you will be able to post from aboard, and thankfully will not be hugging the floors in the seas this time. ;)

I don't know how you all post your itineraries in such a straighforward manner. Diane, a wonderful itinerary! I will really be interested in your report on Floriade; we didn't make it in 2002 and it doesn't look like we will make it this year either.

This was Marcia's pick. She is going to Paris before and/or after.I can't take any more time off of work (I usually bring some with me anyway).

Yes, that we could travel with impugnity. Not in my cards. What I really wish is that I could grab onto an escorted trip so I could meet more of everyone, but those single supps rule me out. I would have grabbed the Silverseas arctic trip, but not at double the price.

My Mom and I are on April 2 Mariner. So happy to be cruising with Olivia again ...have not done a cruise with her since TAP

Now that I'm home from ZODIAC I can start thinking about the Tauck Tulip cruise! I leave for Amsterdam on April 19th as Tauck offered 2 pre or post hotel nights for past guests. Looking forward to meeting Diane & Marcia!

Oh, I am just waiting to hear from you all! Any post from Diane is worth brewing a fresh cup of coffee in the morning! I will just be getting home about a week before, and ready for more vicarious travel adventures.

Sweet you are, but tulips won't be grand reports. not that kind of trip. little vignettes. like the little boat. and the little flowers. and hopefully, not too many big work briefs to do.

Well, that's so, Diane. Nothing like crawling under a bed to escape the seas, or hugging the floor, whatever. I will still be interested, as I am a tulip lover who lives in deer country where they all get eaten up by my yard "pets". Haven't planted a tuplip bulb in years. Oh for little children to run around and make the deer know it this not their home. I will be eager to hear whatever you all report! Do not even think about working on a brief, takes way too much energy away from the important things for this particular time.

Can you believe, Joanna finally broke down and bought a Keurig? Is there anything else for the fresh coffee lover?

This is off topic-sorry-I make a coffee concentrate that I keep in the fridge. cover one pound of whatever you like coffee, coarsely ground, with water. let stand on counter overnight. strain. you'll end up with a smooth, strong concentrate. drink hot or cold.usually 1/4 coffee to 3/4 water, but I do 1/2 to 1/2.

We wil be doing a two week Hawaii cruise with Peggy and Jerry. FUN3 was just not in the budget, especially since we are on Grand Prix, so this is in place of it.

Will be thinking of you'all on FUN3. Ours is from LA, 4 days at sea, Hilo, Honolulu, Kauai and then Maui and 4 more days coming back on Sapphire Princess.

Diane - I am back, and I think I'm ready for tulips. We had some sad news about our dog and I need to make sure my husband is okay with any decisions that might have to be made while I'm gone.

Sorry to hear about your dog Andrea.. I dealt with the same things a few years back.. Never easy..
