I'm doing my forth cruise this year and it should be the best yet. It's the 8 day western cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale. The ship is called Carnival Legend and I'll be leaving December 13th. Love to meet some single women going on this cruise.

Really looking forward to the little cruise on Dec. 17, out of Ft. Lauderdale on the Mariner. I think this will be a great get-a-way before the holidays.

Aloha, I know this is not a RSSC Cruise but Christina and I will be on a Christmas cruise round trip Sydney. It is through P&O but on a Princess ship (Pacific Princess). We did look at RSSC for this time of year but the itineraries did not look too inviting!Looking forward to the Great Barrier Reef.Through our local yacht club we were able to gain access to the American Club in Sydney. They are set to have a "News Years Party" really sounds like great fun !!
Do any of you have any experience on this cruise?
We are flying blind on this one since Cruise Critics board does not have much info. Don't know where to go for more info before our trip, so we are open for any suggestions!Mahalo JD

Looks like Keith and I will be getting aboard the Mariner when several of us are getting off! :mecry: We will be enjoying our 1st wedding anniversary on the Christmas cruise (and avoiding the Delaware winter for a short time while scuba diving and relaxing!!!)

Cheers!

Claudia,

Sorry to hear that you have bailed on our Mariner cruise, but I can't say that I blame you. Perhaps we will meet on another cruise someday. Have a wonderful cruise. It sounds great.

Betty K - The Seabourn "opportunity" came up quite unexpectedly and I couldn't pass it up....However, My Mom will still be onboard Mariner for the 3 nighter and I'm hoping her best friend will go in my place. If its ok with you, I will post my Mom's name closer to sailing and hopefully the 2 of you can meet while onboard. It will be her first time on Radisson....

Betty, I'll let you know later today, but I'm planning on the Mariner on 12/17 too. Seems like it will be a nice little getaway. It will actually be my first Radisson cruise. I'm probably going solo, since I don't think my husband has any more vacation days. Claudia, I'd love to meet your mom too!

Darn...the sailing is waitlist only at this point. Julie put me on the list, but I'm sure it doesn't look good. :(

Andrea, don't get discouraged yet. Lots of time and there are always unexpected things that cause some to cancel even at the last moment. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

BTW, those "red sox" you've been wearing must be working! wave

Thanks Marcie! The price of the flight is so good right now though. Jerel would have been able to go too - he has 2 more vacation days left. However, I'm going to try & see if he can borrow a couple of days from next year, and maybe we'll do the Mariner Christmas cruise. That looks like a lot of fun!

I'm not saying anything about those "sox" yet...wouldn't want to be a jinx.

My wife and I are on the Paul Gauguin 12/4. First time in FP, 2nd RSSC cruise (Navigator in Alaska the first year they were there) and 3rd cruise all time (1st one was on the Big Red Boat from Ft. Lauderdale to Bahamas for 4 days; ok, but almost decided to not go on cruises after that).

The cruise is 11 days; that's why I was surprised at only 1 formal night with New Years in there.
