May 22-31 Vancouver to Anchorage on the Mariner. Peter and I are taking a Friend who has never been to Alaska and who absolutely needs to go now!!
Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry, but by demonstrating that all peoples cry, laugh, eat, worry, and die, it can introduce the idea that if we try and understand each other, we may even become friends ~~M. Angelou~~

We'll be on Crystal Symphony Athens to Venice May 18-25. From Athens we go to Mykonos, Rhodes, Kusadasi, Santorini, at sea, then Venice. This is a "get your feet wet" for my DH who has never been to Europe, let alone a cruise.

We are on Mariner 14-24 May, San Fransisco, Victoria, Prince Rupert, Misty Arm, Skagway, Juneau, Sitka and Vancouver. We have an end of cruise meeting in Vancouver with friends made on SPINN last year!

We are celebrating our silver wedding anniversary aboard the Mariner May 14-24th cruise. We will be in Juneau on the actual date. And this will probably be our last cruise with our 21 year old who finishes his studies this year and will be off! He always managed to tag along, we were in the Baltics on the Voyager year before last with him and on the Mariner in Alaska the year before that! Frank and Wendy, we will be in cabin 927, please give us a call, we'd love to meet you. Have a safe trip over here.

Barbara, we will make a point of meeting you. We are currently booked in 739. We are having a few days in Yosemite prior to the cruise and to get over the jet lag!! See you soon.

Cruising Regent PG 5/27/06, with pre-cruise stay in Rangiroa- 2 nights at Kia Ora Villa Hotel, and 2 nights at Kia Ora Sauvage, and post cruise stay at Te Tiare in Huahine. Anyone else on PG with us? Questions about excursions?

SherryB and kathy16, welcome to lct! Kathy, lots of info here about PG. Do a search on the ship here, and you will find so much. Not sure I remember posts about your pre- and post-cruise hotels, however.
SherryB, is this your first RSSC cruise? I did that itinerary, and have sailed three times on the Navigator, but not on this itin.

Frank & Wendy;
Have been thinking and worrying about you after hearing of the tremendously strong cyclone that hit near Cairns. Please let us know that both you and your family are okay! Barbara

Hi Barbara and all LCT members,
We have just got power back after Cyclone Larry. We and our house are OK. The eye crossed the coast just 25 miles south of us as a strong category 5 system. We lost many trees and shrubs but no other damage. Houses near us do not have a roof now! Next door had a big palm tree through the roof. We were lucky but the small towns just south of us got very badly hit and the Banana and Sugar crops are gone! There is another system lurking out at sea headed this way! Thanks for your thoughts. Looking forward to our Mariner cruise!!

Frank and Wendy, I am glad you made it through without any major damage. I hope the next system steers clear of your house!
