As you will see we have taken the ship off the background. I really liked having the Voyager in the background but is a pain to load when you are working on VPN or slow internet so finally decided it had to go.
At the same time we put a temporaray simple header on LCT and we added the link to the escorted cruises. I get many emails from people asking how to find the escorted cruises.
This version is now outdated and we must upgrade to a new version to have technical support. The newest version will be out sometime this summer and at that time we have to make a change to the new software. We will try to keep the functions and look similiar so it will not be too different from our current version.

I did like having the direct link to Regent's Web site. Will you bring that back? I know we can go to B&K and access it that way. Or maybe you don't want to "play favorites."

All suggestions welcome Julie had to throw this together very quickly to get this done yesterday. This is just temporary and we will design a new header before the update.
A direct link to the cruise lines we specialize in can easily added.

We can certainly add the direct links to the cruise lines when we do the full update. For now, however, they are all just a click away. Click on the Brown & Keene Travel link at the top and all of the cruise lines in which we specialize are right there. Each of our cruise line websites offer direct links to the cruise lines. A couple of extra steps for now, but in the meantime you will also be able to see any specials that Brown & Keene Travel is currently offering.

If we're starting a wish list, I think it would be great if when we went to the B&K site there was a tab or box for late-breaking news and/or specials. I know that there is a news tab, and I know that B&K is very good about sending out periodic specials in e-mails, but this would be for more frequently updated material that really was worth noting and perhaps time sensitive.
Just a thought.

I like the above approach. It is clean and modern. I would prefer that it not be too busy. I just have a link to the Regent site in my favorites under my Travel folder. If you put Regent then you would need the other cruise lines and that will make the header too busy. Keep it short and simple. That way more of the postings show up. I usually just go to the new posts catagory to see what is happening.

I think my favorite part of the website is that there are NONE of those blinking ads that flicker so fast that I feel like I am going to convulse. :hyper:

I thought I'd gone into the wrong site this morning but apart from missing the ship, I think it looks great!

Regarding the "slow" loading of the site - limiting the number of animated gifs (those icons) may help too.

Re: Single Supplements. Don't know where to put this but....... Regent single supplements are now severely restricted, 100% on most cruises although there are some "bargains". Being selfish this applies to me and, although I am approaching Titanium status,I am searching other cruise lines. I know this probably doesn't apply to you, but think about this: If you are currently traveling as a Platinum or Titanium "couple", what would happen if you suddenly became alone and single. You would then have to pay 200% to travel on Regent!( After all you have paid them for past cruises) A sugestion: How about a Titanium perk of 30% Single supplements!

David, your idea sounds nice for you but it would never help someone like me that hasn't even hit platinum level yet. I hope you can get it for yourself. If I was platinum I would still need too many nights at 100% to reach titanium level. I have several friends in this same position but haven't asked them what they plan to do. Hope you will let me know which line your research shows to be the best for singles. Surely there is someone out there that wants my money without robbing me blind.
