Hi everyone. Mona and I just returned from a cruise on the Crown Princess. We had a bit of unexpected excitement after high winds forced us to miss a port call to Bermuda. Tom. Rescue At Sea

Tom, thanks for the story. Previous report I saw first said it was a trimaran then later a monohull; your picture confirms it was a monohull. What I couldn't figure out though is why he went two days without eating as he had food onboard.
Overall, how did you like the ship?

Great story, Tom! What a lucky day for the sailor that you had to miss your port.
Marc, I took it as he was throwing up too much to eat or drink.

Hi Marc. He did have food on board but he was too seasick to eat anything.
The Crown Princess is a beautiful ship. Several improvements were made from the Caribbean Princess. The two speciality restaurants were upgraded, the pianio bar was moved to a better location and an International Cafe was added.
But as you can imagine sailing on a ship with 3000 passengers is a very different experience from Regent. Mona has reached Elite status on Princess so we get perks like a free minibar setup, free laundry and dry cleaning and a few others as well as the free internet.
We love Regent but Princess is nice for short, less expensive Caribbean vacations. Tom.

That's a great story, Tom. I love a happy ending! And I think the Captain is right, he's owed a drink or two! Imagine them being "neighbours", what a small world.
Life is a journey, not a destination.
