With all the complaints about the major vibration
problems on Navigator does anyone know which cabins are effected..in other words not to book.

Actually, Claudia there are 3 special rooms up front - 601 is the best if you are going to be docked at most ports and not dropping anchor.
It's oversized and they've separated the bedroom.
603 is also excellent and worth booking.
These are standard balcony cabins (suites).

Kathy, wasn't there some talk awhile back about changing the catagoy for those cabins?

You're right Joanna.

On Navigator any cabins towards the back suffer from the vibration.

Yes the odd-numbered cabins on deck six all are well forward, have balconies, and are vibration free (well, within normal limits). They have been upgraged (up-priced?) from F to E. Unfortunately, the even-numbered cabins on deck six aren't balcony, but instead have those weird windows overlooking a service deck, but still are vibration free. But as far as view is concerned, they are (IMO) the worst cabins on the ship.

Thanks,
Richard

We have been in the non-balconied cabins on deck 6 and loved them. Very centrally located. However, since a balcony is usually a must, we prefer the Cat E cabins on dek 6. Anywhere from 621 (back from anchor) to 631 is great with 627 being our favorite. It is a three person cabin so if you book it, you know there will be no parents with a kid in a cabin near you.

We were in 724 (non balcony) and 603 (Balcony) - both really terrific rooms. 724 was right off the elevator and mid ship. 603 was one of the oversized staterooms. It was about 3 feet wider than standard at the front. The length of those front hallways is not too long - a nice walk, actually.

No - the Navigator is not an all balcony ship
Even numbers have no balcony - odd numbers are balcony

724 did have a balcony - we were in that room for Bermuda and we did not think we needed one and we were right. I forgot that I upgraded last minute from deck 6. We never used the balcony on that cruise. It was too cold in June.

I am new to this site and will be on the Navigator in May. Thx for the helpful info on cabin selections. Ours will be assigned as we're with a group. I'll keep my fingers crossed for a winner!

Sherry,

Welcome to LCT.

One of the cruises we took on Navigator had a big food themed group onboard from Dallas - I think D Magazine sponsored it. It was on the Bermuda itinerary and every one had such a great time, which I am sure you will too!
