Our FedEx from Brown & Keene has arrived with our documents and at quick glance they all look in order. It is so great to have an agent that is on top of everything and who has such a terrific staff. Our friends that we met last year on the PG got their documents yesterday from B & K.

My dance is modified due to my mother-in-law's frail health. We're praying that she'll be doing a little better and that Bill's brother and sister-in-law can handle anything that comes up while we are gone. They'll have complete contact information on us while we're away.

Again, thanks to all of you who are offering encouragement. This week things have gone from bad to worse with my mother-in-law. I know that the situation is all in the Lord's hands as to whether we are able to go on this trip or need to stay home. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Sorry to hear about your mother-in-law's turn, Kathy. We're thinking of the both of you.

Short update in regard to Bill's mom: we expect her to be transferred to Arbor Hospice Residence near our home as soon as a bed opens up. She currently is at the skilled nursing rehabilation center until they can make the arrangements to move her. Yesterday we gave notice to her Assisted Living facility to terminate her lease there. Even if by some miracle she recovers for a while she will need 24 hour nursing care. Bill and I are both having a difficult time dealing with the situation but we have a strong support network and friends that are praying for us. We need this vacation to get away from all the stress. We'll see what happens in the next 13 days. My packing list is compiled but no packing is done.

Kathy, Wishing your mother-in-law a smooth transition into her new living arrangements. Your strong support system will get you through this difficult period.

Somehow I totally missed this post. My heart goes out ot you and your entire family. Hopefully you can make the trip, knowing your MIL is receiving 24 hour care. You are in my thoughts. A strong support system makes all the difference in the world. Don't be shy about asking for help so you dodn't stress yourself out too much. Take care.
