Hi,

We just got our cabin assignment for last leg W/C, # 1035. We had been on a Category H gaurantee. While this may be a 5 category upgrade, I would prefer a lower deck mid-ship cabin. I asked my agent to check this out and she advised me this leg almost sold out. Only available lower deck is extreme front or back. What is your opinion on this cabin assignment and 2, is this leg really that full?

I know you asked this question to WC'ers, but I'll chime in anyway. I don't think that's a bad cabin at all, given that you have a guarantee for a much better price! It's really not that far back, and the vibration police often talk about it being a problem only aft of the laundry rooms. I did just one leg in 2005, and was assigned, and paid for category E, as that was all that was available, in suite 900, ALL the way forward. When I got onboard, I asked if by chance there was something else lower and mid-ship available, and I got one on mid-ship on deck 6 or 7. I was so happy to get it that it never occurred to me to ask for a price adjustment! Given that we had the "storm of the century" in the Bass Straits on that cruise, I was more than happy to be mid-ship.

We were in 933 for WC - I'd take your cabin in a heartbeat but we have no issue with motion at all!! And I don't remember any rocking on segments we booked - I think we got on as Olivia got off!!

OH I FORGOT!!!!!!! Wasn't that fun!!!! It was right behind our hotel Tom found it - memory not what it was - and you and Marcie went to the zoo????

We went to that zoo! I was happy being in Sydney for so many days, and made the best of my time there! I think my best "excursion" done on my own was the walk on Bondi beach to the next town and getting a bus back to the ship!

We did that too and had great pizza!!!!

Please disregard my request as I just got off the phone with a lovely lady by the name of Jennifer, who was very nice and we changed my cabin assignment to #950, which is, for us a much better location. As far as being full there are quite a few cabins available in the front and back parts of each deck. Thanks to all who answered this request. I now look forward to joining the fun group of W/Cers.
