Thanks Ngaire. They do seem to like the number 4!!!! This makes it easy to find the lower ones. As usual, a fine job from B & K.

Ngaire, thank you so much. It makes it easier and more convenient. Of course, most of them are crossings and off season, but it is the best point of reference. Can;t wait to meet you on TAP. Lynn

Naire, a question....as to single supplements, on the ss page, you list category c-h at the lower rate, yet in the individual listings, you use d-h as the lowest rate for the single supplement. What is the reason and which is correct? Lynn

Interesting, cut and pasted STRAIGHT from Regents spreadsheets. I had not noticed that I will see if I can find out what that is all about. They are all in annual sales meetings until Monday so I wont know anything until then.

So everything but the biggest suites from H up to C for instance on the Voyager are the same percentage. Then when you go into the larger suites the percentage increases. YOu still pay more as you go up categories because it is a PERCENTAGE figure not a FLAT FIGURE. On Society Savings for single cabins it is a flat rate and driven by the category for the changing amounts. They do divide the categories here by G-H and then F-C. WHY they do that is beyond me. This is correct this is just the way they are doing this. The pricing and planning department crunches all these numbers and I have never understood why things are done a certain way. I have just learned to accept the rules and procedures as they set them out.

Ngaire, I am sorry that I didn't make myself clear. On your web page, under, for instance, Escorted tours 2008, you list the lower percentage of single supplement from category D-H where under the the other pages, the lower single supplement is category C-H. In other words, in one place, say the Voyager, you list the horizon suites at 75% single supplement, and in another for the same cruise (your thread on 2008 single supplements, you list category C @ $40%. Am I making sense? Basically what I am asking is whether category C is 40% single or 75%. Lynn

Let me try one more time. on June 6 Monte Carlo to Dover, under the Voyager calendar on your site, you list single supplement categories H-D @ 40% and C-A @ 75%, yet on your thread of 2008 single supplements, you list categories H-C @ 40%, so what is the real single supplement for category C. Thanks for your patience with me. Lynn

There is no June 6th but I think you mean June 9th and I see what you are saying. The answer is I have no idea what is right.
The single supplement table spreadsheet are the most recent paperwork from Regent and it shows the C-H at 40% and then A - B at 75%. These are just cut and pasted directly from Regent spreadsheets. I believe these will be correct.
The rate tables all that data is entered manually by my office. Much more likely that this is where the error lies. Once made it would be duplicated through all the tables. It is a tremendous undertaking and we know that we will have errors somewhere. Even Regents rates on the web dont show both regular and society savings and then we have to add BK Rewards and double Rewards for Escorted Groups. They are monster spreadsheets.
I will find out for sure tomorrow.
I thought we were finished - we will have to change all these again. Probably no single will ever want a category C but just one more detail to deal with and I appreciate you seeing that so we can get it right.

All is fixed now. The problem came in that the Mariner was done first and the template for that was used for the Voyager. The split in categories for the single supplements are different for the Mariner and the Voyager.

Naire, thank you for clearing it up. I am probably the exception to the rule. Whenever I am on the Voyager, including TAP, I try to get category C, I love the huge balconies. I am sorry if I made a lot of work for you. Lynn

Lynn, I'm always happy with the regular balcony size, especially traveling solo. I would love to see your big one while we are on TAP. Your suite may become "party central" for leaving ports at cocktail time!

Lynn, I am glad you noticed it best to get things correct. Particulary for the new 2008 information.
I always appreciate people alerting me to errors on my web it is a huge web and often things go wrong when we publish. It duplicates sentences and puts code on the sheets - you cant look at it all every day.

Whoa, how anyone determines what a single will pay for a cruise is a mystery to me with all these tables! But my question is why there are different percentage rates for the same dates. For example on the Mariner, i see 9/19/08 listed at 10% & again at 30%. (9/10/08 is listed twice, but at the same %). The Voyager has different percentages listed for 4/30/08. Could be more, these just caught my eye as i was trying to stumble onward thru the fog!

This is all correct Splish. These are cruises that have the same starting dates but different lengths and different percentages.
You will see this where there are crossings in April and November on the Mariner and Voyager or cruises in a long voyage that can be joined together.
The cruises in September on the Mariner are part of the Grand Asia Pacific cruises. These prices are not out yet. The segments are often combined for savings. I am sure it will be clear once the pricing is published.
The different percentages for 4/30 Voyager are the same thing. The crossing - the short 8 day crossing is 10% single supplement but the longer 14 day crossing is 25% single supplement. They both start on the same day - 4/30/08

Olivia, I was planning to have a cocktail party because this balcony is HUGE! maybe someone can figure out when, because I have no idea of how to plan it. Maybe right after we leave? If anyone wants to plan it, I will be happy to lend my cabin. Any night will do. Lynn
