Ahhh, I am sure by now most of the FUN3sters are onboard the Navigator in Ft. Lauderdale. It looks a little overcast, but I am sure the LCTers have sunny smiles. The Nav looks in good shape nestled in between those two monsters. Wave to us as you leave port in a few hours. We await your seamail!!

Great news, Betty. Say HI to everyone from me. Just heard the Navigator bridge talking with the harbormaster about your 1700 departure. Sounds like everyone is ready. The seas look a bit rough, so you all hold on for a bumpy ride tonight!

We are at the Fort Lauderdale Hilton, and just saw one of the mega ships (looks like the Norwegian Epic to me) leave. If we can get a shot of the Navigator as she heads out, we will. And trust me when I say this...never have I been so sad to leave a ship. I hope the FUN3ers have a great time on her...I know we did!!

Tami, that was a Princess ship that just left with 13 lifeboats on one side. So glad I'm not on that ship. We all understand your sad feeling about leaving the ship. :mecry:

The sun was shining down on the Navigator as she sailed past our terrace a few minutes ago.

Here are a few more sailaway pictures. I was waiting for the Navigator to leave port, but she was late leaving...... had dinner plans and didn't get time to post them before we left.

Hey Karen, That is a great webcam. I enjoyed watching the ships sailaway. The Navigator zoomed out of port compared to those mega-ships.

I know he will take care of you! He was always hunting down fresh mint leaves for my Mojito Royale and fresh bay leaves and jalapenos for our special "Jalapeno Cocktail"! BTW - in case you didn't know, his name is prounounced "Yan"!

Boy howdy, I wish I were there with you hunting down a spicy Bloody Mary!!!

Here's the recipe I found. Not sure if it's the same as Tami's.

Mojito Royal Cocktail Ingredients

dash lime juice
2 tea spoon brown sugar
hierba buena (mint)
1 and a half shot white rum
top champagne

That recipe is pretty close to ours - we first had one when prepared for us by Pedro Bejarano (another great Regent bartender!). Here's the recipe:

6-8 mint leaves (muddled)
juice of 1 large lime
1/2 oz sugar syrup
1/2 oz apricot brandy
1 1/2 oz white rum
shake well with crushed ice
poor in tall glass with crushed ice
top with champagne

Yumm! Wish I had some mint leaves! I would make me one right now!

It looks like the Navigator made it to the Cayman Islands today, though a bit overcast. Hope the clouds don't dampen the FUN!

As long as the booze and food hold out who cares about the weather? It's always hot and sunny through the Canal. Still wish I was on board.

Good stalking Beth!
We are having a great time and weather is NO problem. We're just leaving Georgetown now, tomorrow sea day in route to Cartagena, Colombia on Wednesday. We have scored a nice round table in C.R. for the 9 of us (table for 8 so it's perfect...we like cozy). Tomorrow we have 2 tables in Prime 7. I played trivia today, only LCTer who showed up...like an orphan, I was taken in by some smarties and we won.

The FUN is definitely here on the Navigator. Suzie, you're missed big time.

lol, Beth, I think she said she was the only LCT person who showed up. Marcie can be a good orphan in picking her smarties, after 500+ nights ;)

I make that comment to recognize they have "crossed over", I guess they call it after 500 nights~

Susan, no way no how could we ever have a sign as nice as your masterpiece!!! We were all just talking about that the other day.
its 6:15am and i am up already, having coffee and checking lct and email. I am meeting Tom and Tony for our morning mile and half pool deck walk soon. Looks to be a beautiful sunny day at sea. Yesterday was coudy in the am but turned partly sunny in time for the pool deck sun worshipers.
Last night we did girls on one side, boys on the other at our dinner table, you can just imagine which side was non stop talking and laughing. I will let Joanna tell the chocolate souffle mishap story :) we were laughing so hard, my face muscles hurt.
tonight is prime7 night and also captains dinner night. Iwill stroll through Compass Rose before heading up to P7 to see how pretty the d.r. looks. Then tomrrow night is or special order night in CR, i better wear something with an elastic waistband ;)
i will try again to upload some pix today, i have deep appreciation for Wes and all the pix he has upladed on his cruise!
