Christina and I are scheduled to do a segment on the Voyager world cruise from Bangkok to Dubai, departing April 9,2011. They will feature "Dinner and a Show" on this cruise.
Question is how do you sign up for this ?
Have any of you done this and what was it like ?

Hi John. On the South America cruise they did "Dinner and a Show" in Signatures for Dinner and the Horizon Lounge for the show (That was on the Mariner-but I'll guess they'll do the same thing on the Voyager--or maybe not??). We made reservations onboard after they announced the schedule. If you already know what nights they're going to offer this, just make a reservation in Signatures for one of those nights. I think they have different entertainers but when we went it was a couple of male singers on one occasion and some tango dancers on another. There was a set menu with a choice of entree in Signatures. We thought it was great. Since Signatures isn't all that big, there weren't too many people at the show, so it was nice having a front row seat.

John, ditto what Peggy said when we were on our Mariner So.Am. trip. We really enjoyed it. We also had dinner shows on the Voyager's WCs...all were great so don't miss 'em. They'll give you notice and if necessary run the shows a couple of nights so no one misses out.

When I went online early today for dinner reservations during KANGAROO, there was a large block of dates that were not available in March that I concluded were for a dinner/show combo like we also had on the Mariner during LLAMA. It's not possible that all those dates were individual dinner reservations because they just opened today.

I agree. Any idea who the show might be?? We saw one last year and it was entertaining. A nice change of pace. Dinner was good. So when on board, I would suggest going.

There are two of them?

Editing to say that I joined Peggy and Jerry on the "Dinner and a Show" on last year's SA circumnavigation, and it was great. Tango dancers from I think Argentina who were with us for awhile. Talk about a great show, and the men (pax) with their tongues hanging, but it was so professional, and like Peggy said, a great seat for everyone as it was limited to number of seats in Signatures. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
