Do you have a fast Rekjavik to Vancouver connection? No way can we make it in time. :(
For expedience, can i recommend a name: Mariner Under Starry Heavens (MUSH)
I think it was last cruise before the advent of pins so I know you don't have a MUSH pin.

No MUSH pin so that is fine. We have had an ICE pin 12/01/08 Antarctica. Put on your thinking cap Kathy you are good at this. I guess I need to get Karen to start a naming contest.
We are on that non stop flight from Reykjavik to Vancouver on the 22nd. Overnight in Vancouver and board the next day.
Sometimes I think we are CRAZY but Andrea does this type of thing all the time too!

A little crazy isn't a bad thing. It took a little while, but I convinced Al that it is perfectly normal to go to Alaska twice in 2 months. We are also on Clay's 7/19 cruise. Of course, this is the same person who decided to fly to Paris to have dinner with the travel agent she had never met....one of the best decisions I ever made!

Alaska is my very favorite destination as there are so many excursions, you will almost never repeat! I think I've done it 4 times now, and would go back in a minute. Just too many cruises already planned! Kristen, look at the others Ngaire has planned. We all would love to see you guys again!
AnnaB, I have to tell you, I think I "own" that name ICE, as I remember I won the teapot when we did a Ngaire cruise to Antarctica years ago. Sorry!
And that dinner in Paris was the first time I met you!

I agree with you wholeheartedly,Olivia. I say all the time that I wish I could visit Alaska every year. So many excursions.... and I would never tire of looking at that beautiful coastline.
Good job on ICE! And how perfect for Antarctica!
I met so many people for the first time in Paris. I will never forget how much fun we had that night, and now so many years later, I am so grateful to have remained friends with so many of you!

It sounds so perfect ! Unfortunately between FROLIC, Cuba, CHEETAH and then ARCTIC (with 5 nights pre-cruise in NYC) in August there is positively no way we can squeeze in one more thing. I know you all will have a fabulous time, I too love Alaska ! Kathy, I will never forget meeting you and Al at the Crowne Plaza in Paris....it was an instant love and life time friendship with you two.
