Shane sends his best to all of us. Karen is hopefully going to post the picture. He is on top of the world! ![[Linked Image]](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v495/iamtribble/iamtribble041/20170509_090107.jpg) Cheers, Anne Drennan

We are on to La Residence. Lovely next stop on our tour. We took time today to go to a motor museum, then enjoy a wine tasting at the adjoining winery. Wonderful cars from 1903 through and including current cars. Had dinner at Reuben's last night and will stay in for dinner here to night. Tomorrow, we go to Cape Town for a 3 night stay at the Silo. A friend of a friend has invited us for dinner one night. Looking forward to seeing Cape Town again after a long draught.
Cheers, Anne Drennan

It sounds like a great trip Anne. We'll be following in your footsteps soon, except we're going to Cape Town first then Birkenhead and La Residence.

I read about the Silo hotel in the May/June Departures magazine. What a unique place!

Silo is so cool. Rooftop bar and tapas bar is very active. See through pool. Nice spa, granary restaurant breakfast presentation is unique. Spend the carbs and eat the chocolate twists. Had lots of fun in cape town. Found black insomnia coffee - most caffeine per unit jn the known world. Took a wrong turn with a huge Roche Bobois bag under my arm in the wrong part of town. It was like flashing "Look no further" to the pickpockets. Safety police quickly came over and directed us to our destination. Found gallery with William kentridge prints. In Joburg today. We are looking for galleries and picking up the last of family gifts. Taking Delta nonstop to Atlanta tonight. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire trip. Cheers,Anne Drennan
