Its already February and still no word on remainder of 2017. I have a birthday ending in zero and we have an anniversary ending in five in late 2017; waiting with bated breathe. I looked at Silversea sailings but nothing that fantastic; hoping Regent comes up with something new.
What could be the hold up? New itineraries? Lower prices? Troubles selling current inventory?

Marc, the cruise consultant on the Voyager (Lynn Madsen) told us last night that the itineraries won't be out until sometime in April. But when they do come out, it will be for a full year through May, 2018. Something to look forward to.

Susan told me this yesterday and I was surprised and not convinced that this would happen. That's great, sure helps plan for the future for the first time ever they may be the first with 2018 itineraries.

They may be the second. Azamara put out their full 2018 itinerary the first of October 2015. We got a copy on the crossing in November.

Regent has always been way behind in the past. So I guess I should say they are starting "to catch up". I do not personally watch Azamara but kudos to them for putting our their schedules so early.

Received email today that release of 2018 World Cruise itinerary has been delayed until 12 May; does that mean all remaining 2017 and early 2018 itineraries have also been delayed to the same time? Waiting to book a fall 2017 itinerary and getting antsy.

When I was on in January, was told schedules for other ships would be out not mid Feb, but mid-late March. Then they changed it and said a bit later, but would go further into the future calendar, for what you want. Who knows with all going on in the world now (especially Europe).
So difficult for them to figure it out for safety and certainty all the way around in planning ahead.
I'm as eager as you to see the cruises coming up past mid year 2017.

Latest information
New date mid April and will include first part of 2018 - of course I will be on Palm, it never fails that I am away.
The 2018 world cruise will not come out until May.

I was told rest of 2017 and first part of 2018 would be out on April 23. Told this by John Barron when I was on Navigator last week.

I got those dates in an email from Regent Corporate yesterday. Who knows!!
JOHN BARON is he back seriously? As Cruise Director, I sure hope that is the case and it is the same John Baron that used to be with Regent - please say it is so!

Yes, Ngaire, he is back! As CD, and the best we have ever had. He and I are big buddies now. And he even appreciates my Jon's eccentricities. You can read all about on the blog I posted on CC. Would have posted here too but didn't want to be redundant.
