I just discovered this live stream on National Geographic website. LIVE DAILY 9AM–12 ET AND 12:30AM–3:30AM ET http://www.wildsafarilive.com/Click here for webcam: Live safari webcam As I type this at 9:34 am ET, the webcam is showing 2 lion cubs. There is a female ranger in a Land Rover providing narration. She is shown on camera occasionally. Ooops.. She's leaving the lion cubs now to look for something else. She thinks maybe the lion cubs will move towards the dam later. It's the evening there, so she's concerned it will get too dark. Oh geez! ha! She got hooked on thorns as she turned to back the rover out. There's a camera person also, of course. They are driving through the bush now. This is so cool!! Looks like links to two other webcams for waterholes.

It's amazing! She found a couple of male lions sleeping. Then went on and came across a herd of impala (of course). Then some male Cape Buffalo. Now a zebra crosses the road and goes into the bush.
It's just like being on a game drive. She's stopped twice to talk to other rangers --- telling them where the lion cubs are. Here's another vehicle! She's stopped now to demonstrate some tracks she sees in the road.
Edit: I got quite a bit of buffering watching on my laptop over wi-fi. So I switched to the computer with Ethernet that we have hooked up to the TV and it's much better. In fact, it's awesome! I feel like I'm in the truck!

Eugene, Gail, Ken and I went to the Wild Earth program at Djuma.
We met the whole team that were there at the time. I think it stopped for a while and glad to see it back. The game in Northern Sabi Sands in this area is excellent this is the same basic location as Mala Mala. In fact we were very close to the area of Wild Earth when we were in the Northern part of Mala Mala.
Glad to see they have a female ranger, there are some really good ones out there. I met one on Zebra 3 when we were doing out site inspections she was AMERICAN and fell in love with South Africa and became a ranger.

Well that was really fun! As the sun was setting the visibility wasn't great, but she turned on the big spot light eventually. And put on her fleece! You know how once the sun sets it chills down quickly. She found the two male lions walking down the road to the water hole. One got a big drink then rolled around in stuff. She thought she saw a bush baby, but I didn't. There were a couple of scrub hares in the road as she was driving after dark. I can't believe how much it was just like being there! We just didn't get a "Sundowner cocktail". I can't wait for tomorrow! I'm not staying up for the morning drive at 12:30 am! I felt like I was sitting in the seat right behind her! ![[Linked Image]](http://seakimski.smugmug.com/photos/i-vPQWsr9/0/M/i-vPQWsr9-M.jpg)
