As you all know we are moving to new offices (at some point, we are still waiting for our building to start) and we decided if we were ever going to change the name of our company this would be the time.

We have had the name BROWN AND KEENE now for 34 years but it has been 20 years since "Brown" left the business. I am always asked "who is Brown" I think it is time to make a change.

So the new name is KEENE LUXURY TRAVEL. That is now our new Corporate name but it will take us time to make all the changes necessary. We can still legally operate as Brown and Keene as an assumed name.

So you will start seeing that name on our email signatures and of course eventually on our websites.

Just wanted to share this news with LCT first.

I thought I aready posted, great name Ngaire! I asked that same question about Brown first time I met you. Brown is GONE for a long time. I think your renaming is perfect, and most appropriate to what you offer!

Glad you all like the name change. It is not always good to change a known name but I think it will be much better in the long run.

We had a wonderful company dinner and celebrated our name change to Keene Luxury Travel. Since Ken and I are about to leave for a month on SPICE nothing will really happen until 2015.

This is all our staff and their significant others, it was a great night!

Andrea thanks for those tips in the Dubai airport. Very helpful.

We leave on Wednesday night arrive about midnight and staying at an airport hotel. So we will see everyone on the ship on boarding.

Last time in Dubai a group went in early and we had a really great time I found Dubai fascinating. Looking forward to this wonderful long trip and so many diverse ports not to mention great company.

Andrea said officials wanted to see her Regent itinerary to make sure she wouldn't stay longer!. That tip was on an earlier post by Andrea. There might have been others but this one was Most important. Olivia, I don't think it was something you said or did - YET!

Also they wanted to check her electronics to assure they were what they were!
